A Multiple Clamping Solution is an advanced workholding system designed to clamp two or more components simultaneously on a single machine cycle. By machining multiple parts at once, it maximizes spindle utilization, reduces idle time, and boosts throughput—making it ideal for CNC lathes, VMC/HMC, SPMs, and automated lines.
These solutions can be implemented using multi-station collet chucks, hydraulic/pneumatic fixtures, expanding systems, or combination OD–ID clamping, all engineered for uniform force, high repeatability, and minimal distortion.
Applications
Multiple clamping solutions are widely used in:
- CNC Turning & Milling (batch and mass production)
- Vertical & Horizontal Machining Centers
- Special Purpose Machines (SPM)
- Automotive, aerospace & engineering components
- Bushes, sleeves, shafts, flanges & housings
- Thin-wall or precision components (with ID expansion)
- Automation & robotic loading systems

Working Principle
A central actuator (hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical) distributes force to multiple clamping stations through linkages, manifolds, or segmented mechanisms. This ensures equalized pressure so every component is held consistently—critical for dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
